writing again

its been more than 10 years since i last wrote a blog post. thats long enough for a blog to become less of a habit and more of an archaeological site, with old drafts and the unmistakable smell of bad decisions.

so naturally, im going back in!

im writing again, but this time this space wont be focused only on technology. tech will still be here: projects, tools, software, ideas, and the occasional problem that looked simple until it was already 3 hours past midnight...

basically, the usual material for an idiot with a keyboard.

but sometimes ill write about music too: records, sounds, memories, and whatever got stuck in my head. sometimes ill write about films, especially the ones that leave me thinking after the credits. and sometimes ill write about things that dont fit anywhere, bcs apparently even my interests refuse to organize themselves.

roger would probably call this a bold artistic reinvention, while wearing a completely different disguise and asking to be paid in cash. im not promising wisdom, consistency, or even basic competence. im promising that roger and i will sometimes have something ridiculous to say.

this blog is a place to start again without pretending that every post needs to be perfectly polished, deeply meaningful, or written by someone who knows what theyre doing. ill try to pay attention, make connections, and put some thoughts into words before they escape or become someone elses problem.

so, welcome. im writing again. please lower your expectations accordingly.
